Saga Mooga / साग मूँग दाल की सब्जी

 Saga Mooga or Mung Dal Saga ki Sabji without onion garlic recipe is an healthy food in its own way, Its a perfect combination of green leafy vegetable with protein rich moong dal in it and also without onion garlic.Best for lunch as side item.


Serves 2 Person
Preparation Time- 3 Min
Cooking Time- 20 Min

Ingredient:

Kosala saga/ Any Kind of Sag/green leaf available /साग
Moong dal 1 small cup / मूँग दाल 
Grated Coconut 3 tbsp / नारियल 
Badi/उड़द  दाल कि बड़ी
Oil 2 spn
Turmeric Powder/हल्दी
Salt / नमक
Jeera 1 spn / जीरा
Dried Red Chilly/ सूखा मिर्च
Hing  / हिंग  

Rules for Preparation

  1. Chop the Sag.
  2. Heat up a Pan, add moong dal into it and fry it for 2-3 min
  3. Add water into it, then haldi powder & salt, Cook it for 15-20 min upto dal soft
  4. Add the Saga into it then grated coconut and cook it for another 2-3 mintues.
  5. Add jeera and hing tadka.
  6. Serve it with rice as a side item.
